About the role

Infosys is seeking an AWS Python Data Architect to join its Financial Services unit. The role focuses on designing and implementing data solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, leveraging AI, cloud and data analytics technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise‑architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analyses to select optimal solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and proof‑of‑concept validations for proposed architectures.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adherence to quality standards and support automation of build and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks in the landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Architecture Consultant or similar senior technical role.
• Strong background in financial services data environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience driving design creation and supporting enterprise‑wide architectural initiatives.
