AWS Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (Technology Analyst)

About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to support and manage the Finacle digital banking platform on Amazon Web Services. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure management, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD automation, and ensuring platform reliability across both non‑production and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Finacle deployments on AWS.
• Administer and troubleshoot Amazon EKS/Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement deployment strategies such as canary, blue‑green, and rolling deployments.
• Manage Docker‑based containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based release processes.
• Perform configuration management with Ansible.
• Configure and manage AWS services including EKS, IAM, ALB, S3, EC2, and CloudWatch.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive service restoration.
• Manage security controls, IAM policies, credential rotations, and Istio certificates.
• Support incident, change, and problem management using Jira and ServiceNow.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks in Confluence.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in AWS infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain Terraform‑based IaC.
• Experience managing production incidents for mission‑critical applications.
• Good communication skills and ability to document processes clearly.
