AV Production Specialist

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an AV Production Specialist to own the day‑to‑day operation of the technology that powers its all‑hands meetings, executive presentations, and live broadcasts. You will be the technical partner that ensures every event runs smoothly, from the initial request through post‑event follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Operate video switchers, audio consoles, camera systems, playback devices, and streaming encoders during live and hybrid events.
• Build and manage technical run‑of‑shows, including cue sheets, source lists, rehearsal schedules, and backup plans.
• Direct contractors and onsite technicians, delegating tasks clearly under time pressure.
• Own the event technology intake process: triage requests, conduct technical scoping, and create staffing and equipment plans.
• Maintain event spaces through preventative maintenance and ensure readiness for upcoming productions.
• Communicate status, risks, and resolutions to non‑technical stakeholders in clear, jargon‑free language.
• Handle confidentiality and access controls for sensitive sessions, including recording and streaming permissions.

Required profile

• Calm and decisive presence during high‑pressure live productions.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical details for non‑technical partners.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues quickly and effectively.
• Detail‑oriented mindset for creating repeatable runbooks and templates.

Required skills
