AV Installation Technician - Residential

About the role

Lelch is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Low‑Voltage Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low‑voltage systems in residential settings, including home theater, distributed audio/video, lighting, security, networking, and smart home automation.

Key responsibilities

• Pull, terminate and test low‑voltage cabling (Category, fiber, speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
• Mount devices at the ends of cables
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Set up and configure AV devices
• Apply advanced networking knowledge
• Troubleshoot devices and systems
• Program control platforms such as Lutron, C4, Savant and Crestron

Required profile

• At least 2 years of residential AV and low‑voltage installation experience
• Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi and Ethernet
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Equipment rack assembly
• Device mounting and configuration
• Network troubleshooting
• Programming of Lutron, Crestron, Savant, C4 platforms
• Understanding of TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi and Ethernet protocols
