Automotive Service Technician (Flat-Rate)

About the role

Join Global Imports BMW, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, as a full‑time Automotive Service Technician. You will work on BMW vehicles using a flat‑rate pay structure, delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance while supporting the growth of apprentice technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process repair orders, performing work efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions, order parts, and complete repairs to dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with the parts department and service advisors about warranty parts, additional work, and timing.
• Road‑test vehicles or coordinate testing, ensuring customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
• Supervise apprentice technicians and provide on‑the‑job guidance.
• Attend factory‑sponsored training, stay current with technical bulletins, and maintain a clean, organized shop.

Required profile

• High CSI rating is mandatory.
• ASE certification or equivalent manufacturing training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
