Automation Technology Adjunct Instructor (Evenings)

About the role

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Automation Technology Adjunct Instructor (Evenings) at the Whitfield Murray Campus. The role involves delivering automation technology courses, advising students, and supporting departmental activities on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional instruction based on approved course syllabi and prepare curriculum materials.
• Evaluate student progress, administer and grade examinations, and maintain attendance and grade records.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in training areas.
• Assist with student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
• Participate in institutional training, workshops, and program certification activities.

Required profile

• Associate degree or diploma in Automation Technology, Industrial Systems Technology, or related field.
• Three years of paid work experience in automation technology or related industry within the past seven years.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom and technology management abilities.
