Coordinator of Student Success

About the role

The Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a dedicated Coordinator of Student Success to lead the student help center on the Whitfield Murray Campus. This full‑time, on‑site position supports student enrollment, retention, and overall campus experience while reporting to the Associate Vice President of Student Success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily campus operations, programs, and services that drive student success.
• Administer admissions policies, oversee admission, acceptance, and readmission processes.
• Support institutional recruitment and provide career/technical guidance to prospective and current students.
• Utilize CRM software to process student information, review documentation, and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the student information system.
• Counsel students, resolve issues, and coordinate campus‑wide activities, tours, registration, and orientation.
• Serve on Student Success committees and engage with community stakeholders.
• Evaluate employee performance, approve leave and timesheets, and provide training as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel for professional development.
• On‑campus presence required; no telework option.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, staff, and external partners.

Required skills

• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Proficiency in using student information systems for data entry and reporting.
