About the role
Moog is seeking an A&T Technician I to work the 2nd or 3rd shift at its Buffalo, NY facility. The role supports the Commercial Aircraft Group by assembling, testing, and troubleshooting high‑precision aerospace components. You will report to the Process Manager and operate in a safety‑sensitive, FAA‑regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform assembly activities using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and parts lists, and document performance results and situational observations.
- Set up and execute operational tests on high‑precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
- Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and provide rework instructions or configuration changes.
- Carry out daily administrative tasks to support overall production operations.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
- Demonstrated proficiency with basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- At least one year of related technical experience in a manufacturing or test environment.
- Eligibility and enrollment in Moog’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required for Safety Sensitive Work.
- Willingness to work the 2nd or 3rd shift on an onsite schedule in East Aurora/Buffalo, NY.
