Associate Vice President – Life Sciences Transformation

About the role

Campana & Schott is seeking an Associate Vice President to lead its Life Sciences Transformation practice in New York. The AVP will act as a senior leader, driving growth, managing large‑scale client programs, and shaping the firm’s market presence in pharma, biotech, and medtech.

Key responsibilities

• Own P&L for the Life Sciences vertical, overseeing revenue, margin, and resource utilization.
• Lead business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and secure proposal/RFP wins.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and senior client stakeholders across life‑science sectors.
• Design and execute large‑scale transformation programs such as operating model redesign, digital transformation, commercial effectiveness, and M&A integration.
• Build, mentor, and manage high‑performing consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Develop thought leadership, points of view, and go‑to‑market offerings specific to life sciences.
• Collaborate with practice leaders to expand service offerings and drive cross‑sell opportunities.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in life‑sciences consulting or related transformation roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, drive revenue growth, and oversee large‑scale projects.
• Strong client‑facing skills with experience advising C‑suite executives.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing consulting teams.
• Excellent communication and thought‑leadership capabilities.
