Associate Registrar

About the role

The Associate Registrar supports the Records Department by maintaining the academic catalog, managing course scheduling, and ensuring accurate student information across systems. This position works closely with academic deans, department chairs, and the registrar office to keep the institution’s records up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with updates and revisions of the Academic Catalog and maintain Curriculog.
• Attend Shared Governance committee meetings and update the student information system (SIS) and catalog based on approved changes.
• Coordinate with academic deans and department chairs to produce the semester course schedule.
• Monitor and resolve classroom scheduling conflicts in collaboration with academic units.
• Handle ad‑hoc classroom scheduling requests for internal campus needs.
• Serve as backup for Assistant Registrars on registrar office processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Three to four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative staff.

Required skills

• Experience with Curriculog.
• Familiarity with Jenzabar EX.
• Proficiency in Workday.
