Associate Producer

About the role

The Associate Producer supports the daily execution of live newscasts across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. Working closely with executive producers, line producers, anchors, and assignment editors, the role helps shape editorial content and ensures smooth on‑air delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and assist with live newscasts and special events.
• Build and format daily rundowns, write lower‑third graphics, and call supers during live broadcasts.
• Support all production stages, from headline creation to segment preparation and news briefs.
• Contribute to the day’s editorial line and request news graphics as needed.
• Maintain awareness of breaking news and adapt quickly to last‑minute schedule changes.

Required profile

• Strong editorial background with excellent writing abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven newsroom.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, early mornings, holidays, and during breaking news.
