Associate Manufacturing Technician - Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Manufacturing Technician to join the production team at Celgard in Concord, NC. The role works the day shift (5:50 am‑6:00 pm, 12‑hour schedule) and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a range of industrial film manufacturing equipment, including extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers and core slabbers.
• Drive powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) to transport materials and finished products.
• Prepare chemical solutions and monitor chemical processes, using instrumentation to verify product quality against specifications.
• Perform routine set‑up, change‑over and multi‑task operations across multiple machines.
• Follow and continuously improve safety, environmental and health procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attendance and safety record.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Operation of extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers and core slabbers.
• Use of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Preparation of chemical solutions and use of quality‑testing instruments.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
