Associate Engineer – Motor Vehicle Crash Reconstruction

Delta |v| Forensic Engineering is seeking an Associate Engineer for its Nashville office to join the accident reconstruction team. The role blends field investigations using advanced capture technologies with in‑office analysis of vehicle dynamics, damage, and impact forces to deliver accurate, science‑based reconstructions for legal, insurance and transportation clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections, vehicle assessments and rapid‑response investigations, capturing evidence with 3D laser scanning, drones and digital photography.
• Analyze vehicle motion, damage patterns, impact forces and driver response using CAD, photogrammetry, collision‑simulation software and EDR data.
• Prepare technically accurate reports, visual exhibits and reconstruction models for internal and external audiences.
• Support multiple projects with competing deadlines while collaborating with engineers, client‑engagement staff and operations partners.
