Associate, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The Business Development team at JPMorgan Chase drives strategic partnerships across its Consumer and Business banking lines, credit cards, wealth management, and more. As an Associate on the Card Partnerships team, you will help create and manage embedded benefit deals that enhance the value of Chase credit cards for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and execute strategic card partnership agreements with merchants and technology partners.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and product teams to build business cases, deal structures, and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and deliver updates and presentations for senior executives on partnership progress.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to surface new partnership opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal partnership groups and external senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, consulting, or corporate strategy.
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial contracts and influence across a matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• PowerPoint for creating executive‑level presentations.
