Assister Program Manager – State-Based Exchange

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Assister Program Manager to lead the Navigator Grantee Organization and Certified Application Counselor (CAC) Designated Organization processes for its State‑Based Exchange. Reporting with limited supervision, you will ensure compliance, training, and funding procedures are effectively administered.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and manage the application and selection process for Navigator Grantee and CAC Designated Organizations.
• Oversee examinations, certifications, trainings, and related requirements.
• Design and implement onboarding procedures for Grantee and Counselor organizations.
• Monitor program requirements, develop processes, and ensure policy adherence.
• Manage Navigator grant funding and Assister licensing processes.
• Coordinate with agency division staff on licensing matters and communicate regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience managing professional‑level staff, or seven years of related experience with three years at a comparable managerial level.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee program procedures and compliance.
