Assistant Vice President – Revenue Cycle Applications

About the role

The Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Applications will provide strategic leadership for Ochsner's Epic Revenue Cycle portfolio, aligning technology investments with operational priorities and financial goals. This senior position partners closely with Revenue Cycle Operations leadership to drive optimization and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application roadmaps for Epic Revenue Cycle systems, including Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, and HIM.
• Lead and develop high‑performing teams responsible for Revenue Cycle applications and related technologies.
• Champion adoption of Epic functionality, drive efficiency improvements, and enhance user engagement across Revenue Cycle workflows.
• Establish governance processes, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational and financial objectives.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive healthcare IT experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• 7+ years of experience specifically with Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting (Master’s preferred).

• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification (upon hire).
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification (upon hire).
• Epic Claims certification (upon hire).
• Epic HIM certification (upon hire).
