About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring the store meets its sales, merchandising, and customer service goals. This full‑time position is based in Palestine, TX, and involves direct interaction with customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets, inventory, and financial information.
• Develop and execute action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Supervise the store and staff in the Store Manager’s absence, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure compliance with company policies and visual standards.
• Monitor sales statistics, inventory movement, and expenses to drive profitability.
• Perform general administrative duties and support store‑wide initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of all product areas within the store.
