Assistant Showrunner

About the role

CatFace is looking for a motivated Assistant Showrunner to support the production of daily YouTube videos. You will work closely with the Showrunner to ensure each video moves smoothly from concept to final upload, while maintaining the brand’s fun and light‑hearted tone.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Showrunner in preparing assets, sets, and schedules for daily video shoots.
• Act as a liaison between production, editing, and creative teams to keep communication clear and timely.
• Help organize run‑throughs, monitor production steps, and report any issues with suggested solutions.
• Participate in recording sessions to ensure smooth setup and provide on‑the‑spot assistance.
• Review video edits with the Showrunner, offering feedback to improve content quality.
• Approve in‑game assets and provide constructive feedback to the Minecraft team.
• Maintain production documents and timelines, and lead the team through each video’s lifecycle.
• Support weekend review rotations and step in when the Showrunner is unavailable.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in video production, preferably for YouTube or digital entertainment.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Agility to adapt to weekly content changes and tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Understanding of Minecraft commands, mods, and limitations.
