Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate sociology courses, both on-campus and through approved online modalities.
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda that contributes to the discipline.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service, including curriculum development and student advising.
• Contribute to the campus community as a Campus Security Authority.
• Engage with the local community and professional societies to promote the university’s mission.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Sociology or a closely related field completed by the start date.
• Demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching and scholarly research.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring university-funded H-1B sponsorship.
