Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Mason

About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Mason supports the Area Maintenance Manager in ensuring that all units, common areas, and amenities at the Alameda Station meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position involves hands‑on technical work, coordination of vendors, and oversight of preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and code.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Track and order maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Perform inspections using Leonardo 247, Entrata, and other platforms to ensure compliance with regulatory and property standards.
• Maintain grounds and common areas through cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.

Required profile

• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel between properties as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Familiarity with property‑management software such as Leonardo 247 and Entrata.
