Assistant Community Manager – The Parker

About the role

This role supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Parker community, handling accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite (or similar) to enter transactions, update records, and maintain system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges, and coordinate payments.
• Assist with evictions, move‑out processing, and lease term compliance.
• Supervise on‑site staff in the Community Manager’s absence and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Support leasing and marketing by greeting prospects, showing apartments, and handling applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in property or community management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.).
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Valid driver’s license (required for on‑site duties).
• All required state and local licenses/certifications.
