Assistant Community Manager – The Fletcher

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Fletcher Southlands community. This role handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the integrity of the property management system.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments, prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and process invoices and payables.
• Operate Greystar’s property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring accurate data entry, updates and system backups.
• Review resident files and accounting records, communicate with residents on outstanding balances, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review and code vendor invoices, obtain community manager approval, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings when required.
• Process resident move‑outs, apply appropriate fees, and manage security deposit reconciliations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and lease administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
