About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of Sundance Apartments. This position involves hands‑on accounting, bookkeeping, and day‑to‑day financial administration for a stabilized, garden‑style community of 396 units.
Key responsibilities
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including monthly close‑out and financial reporting.
- Process invoices, collect rent, fees, and other payments, and manage bank deposits.
- Conduct account reconciliations and dispositions.
- Utilize property management software to record, track, and report all financial activities.
- Assist with leasing and renewal incentives as part of commission/bonus programs.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of related experience in property management or real‑estate finance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
