Assistant Community Manager – Granary Flats

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Granary Flats community. This position handles accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures smooth day‑to‑day property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite (or similar) property management software, entering transactions and maintaining data integrity.
• Communicate with residents about unpaid balances, enforce lease terms, and manage delinquencies.
• Review, code, and process vendor invoices, obtaining approvals and coordinating payments.
• Assist with evictions, move‑out processing, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Supervise on‑site operations in the Community Manager’s absence, coordinating maintenance and daily tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in property or community management.
• Understanding of lease terms, collections and resident relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail‑oriented work style.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.).
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on‑site.
