Assistant Boutique Manager – Retail Sales

About the role

As an Assistant Boutique Manager with Nespresso, you’ll help create a warm, immersive coffee experience that embodies the heart of the brand. Working closely with the Boutique Manager, you’ll guide the boutique’s customer‑first strategy, elevating service, operational flow, and the overall boutique experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer‑service excellence by acting as a coffee expert and using storytelling to educate guests.
• Drive sales results through clear communication, coaching, and partnership with store leadership.
• Develop and motivate the team with regular feedback, recognition, and learning opportunities.
• Own daily operations, inventory management, scheduling, and visual standards to ensure efficiency.
• Conduct engaging coffee tastings and share passion to create memorable moments.
• Plan community events and initiatives that attract new customers and boost brand presence.
• Approach challenges creatively, encouraging experimentation and growth.
• Promote a safety‑first environment for employees and customers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional management experience in a fast‑paced or luxury retail environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience managing multiple direct reports.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Authentic passion for coffee, respect for sustainability, and commitment to continual learning.
• Availability to work open and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
