Assembler II – 1st Shift (Gasket Plate Heat Exchanger)

About the role

As an integral member of the team, you will assemble gasket plate heat exchangers, building finished products with strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints and instructions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments and execute production using Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints.
• Report any safety, quality, parts, or equipment deviations immediately.
• Participate in daily status board meetings, propose solutions, and suggest SOP improvements.
• Identify waste elimination opportunities and drive Kaizen improvements.
• Maintain 5S standards, perform cross‑training, and use downtime for learning.
• Accurately record quality data and documentation per company and customer requirements.
• Operate industrial vehicles (crane, forklift, joey) after training and pass the required test.

Required profile

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and SOPs.
• Willingness to operate industrial vehicles after training.

Required skills

• Hand and power tools.
• Industrial vehicle operation (crane, forklift, joey).
• Blueprint reading.
