Assembler I – Manufacturing Assembly

About the role

As an Assembler I, you will assemble products by positioning and installing components and sub‑assemblies according to drawings and instructions. The role uses a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to correctly assemble coolers.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints and assembly instructions to position parts and sub‑assemblies.
• Fasten components using hand and power tools, including radial drills, fin‑tube machinery and large vertical band saws.
• Perform tube installation, rolling operations and operate cut saws, drill presses and punch presses as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions with supervision.
• Load and unload trucks, move materials with forklifts and overhead cranes, and keep work areas clean.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and calipers.
• Preferably 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Forklift certification and overhead crane experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, presses, shears).
• Operation of radial drills, fin‑tube machinery, large vertical band saws.
• Use of precision measuring devices for quality checks.
• Forklift operation and overhead crane handling.
• Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
