About the role
Arcetyp LLC is seeking a full‑time Army Human Resources Specialist to work onsite at the U.S. Army Student Detachment (USASD) in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. You will provide comprehensive administrative support for soldier personnel, pay, records, finance, travel, and customer service within a government‑furnished facility.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct soldier in‑processing and out‑processing, manage digital records, and verify assignment orders.
- Enter and maintain personnel actions in the Integrated Personnel and Pay System‑Army (IPPS‑A), including promotions, awards, leave, and separations.
- Process military pay entitlements, allowances, special pay actions, and related deductions.
- Maintain official personnel records and upload documents to the Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS).
- Operate Army and DoD financial‑management systems for soldier financial actions.
- Provide help‑desk support to the dispersed student population via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
- Process travel authorizations and vouchers using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATTRS).
- Research and resolve personnel, pay, records, travel, and administrative issues while meeting quality and timeline standards.
Required profile
- Minimum of two years of relevant human resources or military personnel experience.
- Ability to work onsite during standard business hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday).
- Eligibility for W‑2 employment; no 1099, C2C, or staffing‑firm arrangements.
- U.S. work authorization; no H‑1B sponsorship available.
