Armed Security Officer - Tablet Reporting (Part-Time)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA, to protect clients in sectors such as financial institutions. The officer monitors access points, carries out routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to deter security incidents, while providing professional customer service and responding to security concerns with integrity and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees and visitors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Carry out regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed and report suspicious persons, conditions or activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and critical situations, following emergency response procedures.
• Maintain required reports and logs covering patrol activity, incidents and interactions with visitors and staff.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Preferred: access control and badge experience, customer service experience, comfort with computers or tablets, CPR certification.
• Background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment; licensing may be required depending on state and local laws.
