Armed Nuclear Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring an Armed Nuclear Security Shift Supervisor for a site in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The supervisor oversees and evaluates the conduct and performance of security officers and sergeants in the assigned unit or team, and is qualified to act as a Central Alarm Station (CAS) or Secondary Alarm Station (SAS) operator. The role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate security officers and sergeants in the assigned unit or team
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and facility and company policies
• Perform post inspections and assign work to employees
• Issue weapons and equipment and handle employee issues and concerns
• Identify safety and fire hazards and recommend improvements
• Report degradation, deficiencies and accidents and take corrective action as directed
• Control access of personnel, vehicles and materials to the protected area and maintain logs

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of successful service as a Nuclear Security Officer
• Completed all training requirements for Sergeant-level Shift Supervisor
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work scheduled twelve-hour shifts
• Background investigation and drug screen completed as a condition of employment

Required skills

• Operate radio or telephone equipment and monitor surveillance equipment
• Communicate cordially with the public
• Qualified to operate a CAS or SAS

Pay is $36.19 per day and $37.11 per night.
