Area Sales Manager – South Texas

About the role

Garage Beer is looking for an energetic Area Sales Manager to drive growth across South Texas, covering Austin, Houston and San Antonio. You will partner with distributors to create and execute an annual business plan that boosts volume and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align the annual distributor business plan with Garage Beer priorities.
• Collaborate with distributors to bring marketing initiatives to life in the local market.
• Analyze, segment and build target account lists for distribution and display.
• Execute chain and independent distribution strategies, including feature and display placements.
• Conduct regular in‑market visits to identify retail execution opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a field sales representative, setting clear priorities and holding them accountable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage, beer, distributor, supplier or CPG sales.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth.
• Strong analytical mindset to turn data into business insights.

Required skills

• Experience with internal tools such as VIP and Karma.
• Ability to work with syndicated data and distributor reporting.
