Area Portfolio Leader – Electrical Markets Division

About the role

The Area Portfolio Leader for the Electrical Markets Division (EMD) in the US Central region will drive growth and profitability by aligning marketing programs, pricing strategy, and product portfolio actions with sales and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize marketing programs and align sales expectations to deliver growth and operating income.
• Collaborate end‑to‑end with field sales, global marketing, demand planning, and supply‑chain/manufacturing to understand the project pipeline and allocate resources.
• Direct pricing strategy and execution, including approving deals and deviated pricing requests.
• Execute new product introductions (NPI), phase‑in/phase‑out (PIPO) and other strategic portfolio changes in partnership with the global portfolio team.
• Serve as the main point of contact for coordination and insight sharing between global and area teams and with sales districts outside of EMD.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified prior to start.
• At least five combined years of experience in marketing, sales, channel management, or customer service in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Master’s degree in Business or additional ten years of relevant experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3M systems such as SAP, PowerBI, GDPT, Vendavo, Vistex, and Horizon.
• Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills.
