Architectural Design Professional 2

About the role

EwingCole is seeking a Design Professional 2 to join its New York office. The role supports project teams through all design phases, producing graphics, models, and drawings that communicate design intent and meet technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production documentation with accurate annotations.
• Create renderings, sketches, and visual representations throughout the design process.
• Apply building technology knowledge and coordinate with engineering consultants.
• Support project delivery in all documentation phases.
• Reference applicable codes, accessibility standards, and company quality standards.
• Assist with site planning, building orientation, and circulation studies.
• Consider sustainability and material health impacts in design decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture (required); Master of Architecture (preferred).
• In process of completing the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and pursuing professional registration.
• Minimum 3 + years of full‑time architectural experience.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and seek guidance for complex issues.
