Architectural Design Associate

About the role

As an Architectural Design Associate you will help lead the design, documentation, and development of advanced data‑center facilities across STACK’s Americas portfolio. You will work with architects, engineers, and project managers to turn innovative concepts into high‑performance, buildable solutions in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support concept design documentation for STACK’s Board of Directors.
• Manage project issues in Procore and OneSource.
• Provide administrative support: meeting minutes, action items, milestone scheduling.
• Assist with interior design updates, wayfinding, and furniture coordination for existing facilities.
• Evaluate design concepts, presentations, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Prepare project estimates, reports, and architectural renderings per design instructions.
• Review architectural drawings, diagrams, and BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and other visualization tools.
• Support evolution of global design standards, including AI‑driven design initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, sustainable design practices, and architectural trends for mission‑critical infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 3‑5 years of professional or internship experience in architectural design or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Grasshopper/Dynamo, and 3D visualization software.
• Strong grasp of architectural fundamentals, building systems, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Established NCARB record to support eventual licensure.
