APRN – Movement Disorder Clinic

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will provide specialized nursing care within the Movement Disorder Clinic, supporting patients with Parkinson's disease and related neurological conditions. Working closely with neurologists and multidisciplinary teams, the APRN will deliver comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing management to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage medication regimens, including titration and monitoring of side effects.
• Provide patient and family education on disease processes, treatment options, and self‑management strategies.
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate clinic operations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities as needed.

Required profile

• Current RN license with APRN certification (NP or CNS).
• Experience in neurology, movement disorders, or related specialty preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
