Android Software Engineer

About the role

As an Android Engineer at Cape, you will build the definitive application for private mobile communication, owning the full feature lifecycle from design to launch on Google Play and privacy‑focused app stores.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the mobile product lifecycle—from concept, design, development to launch.
• Maintain high coding standards, conduct code reviews, and foster continuous improvement.
• Champion security, performance, and stability through robust testing, monitoring, and release processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve user workflows and ensure seamless experiences.

Required profile

• 4+ years of Android development experience with a strong foundation in the Android ecosystem.
• Proven ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast‑changing environment with frequent iteration and user feedback.
