Android Mobile Engineer

About the role

Infosys Digital Experience (DX) is seeking an Android Mobile Engineer to join its team in Richardson, Texas. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications that deliver personalized, human‑centered digital experiences for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, documenting business needs and translating them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement new features or enhancements for Android applications using Kotlin.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code repositories, and ensure system stability.
• Develop and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Experience turning complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Hands‑on coding expertise with a proactive testing and troubleshooting mindset.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional teams and integrating software components.
