Analyst III – Active Investing Equity

About the role

The Junior Analyst III will work closely with investment teams to support global trading and portfolio management processes. Reporting to the Front Office Operations NA Head of Active Investing Equity, the role is based in New York and provides critical assistance to both local and international investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review trading models and implement equity and fixed‑income securities trades while monitoring execution.
• Communicate with portfolio management, global trading, compliance, technology, and investment services teams.
• Produce, validate, and analyze reports required by front‑office teams worldwide.
• Reconcile, investigate, and resolve discrepancies at the transaction, position, and security level in front‑office applications.
• Review and respond to pre‑ and post‑trade compliance warnings.
• Monitor portfolio weights to ensure alignment with client‑specific limits.
• Maintain shared investment models, perform monthly processing, data verification, and scenario testing.
• Manage cash balances and currency exposures according to portfolio manager targets.

Required profile

• College degree in Finance or Economics (preferred).
• Solid understanding of asset classes, especially equity and fixed‑income.
• Knowledge of buy‑side investment processes and products.
• Experience with front‑office applications such as Aladdin, CRD, or Bloomberg (preferred).
• Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software.
