Analyst - Credit Investments

About the role

Tranham Partners is supporting a Tier One Private Credit platform in New York City and is looking for an Analyst (or Senior Analyst) to join its credit investments team. The role will focus on underwriting and monitoring multifamily real‑estate loan opportunities, providing analytical support across a growing portfolio of private credit deals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and underwriting credit investment opportunities within the multifamily lending book.
• Collaborate directly with senior associates and VPs on deal analysis, financial modeling, and due‑diligence.
• Prepare presentation materials and analytical reports for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and the equity underwriting team.
• Support asset‑management functions by monitoring portfolio performance and tracking key metrics.
• Gradually gain exposure to bond trading and B‑piece investment opportunities as experience develops.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in real‑estate private credit, private equity, or investment banking.
• Exposure to commercial real‑estate credit structures such as preferred equity, mezzanine, bridge, or construction financing.
• Strong understanding of multifamily real‑estate assets, the core focus of the platform.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live deals.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling and underwriting.
• Financial modeling proficiency specific to real‑estate credit transactions.
