AML and Sanctions AI Modeling Director

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced Director to lead AML and Sanctions AI Modeling within its Risk & Regulatory practice. You will use data and analytics to generate strategic insights for banking and capital‑markets clients, shaping the direction of engagements and mentoring future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI modeling strategies that enhance business intelligence and support decision‑making.
• Lead multiple client projects focused on performance optimisation and strategic goal achievement.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable plans and inspire teams to execute effectively.
• Promote AI‑human collaboration to create innovative, data‑driven solutions.
• Mentor team members, fostering inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Identify market gaps and convert opportunities into successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality, architecture, and compliance.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Preference for studies in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, or Business Administration/Management.
