Alcohol Compliance Supervisor

About the role

Legends Global is hiring an Alcohol Compliance Supervisor for the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden. Working under the direction of management, the supervisor ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the building in line with state and company policies, monitors staff adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy and assists staff with alcohol-related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by event-day employees and hold pre-shift and post-event meetings with the compliance team.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines required by federal, state and local law and company standards.
• Ensure staff adhere to those guidelines and observe, document and report alcohol-related issues, violations, pass-offs and suspected guest intoxication.
• Assist management with setting and communicating the last call time for alcohol sales.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude, interact with guests, volunteers and staff, and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete safety training, report safety incidents to the risk management system on the same day, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; alcohol compliance experience or leadership oversight preferred.
• Ability to work all venue events on a flexible schedule, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain responsible alcohol service certification.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks and to lift, push or pull about 25 lbs; able to stand or walk up to 10 hours in a shift on ramps and stairs.
• High school education or better preferred.

Pay rate: $18 per hour.
