AI Research Scientist – World Model

About the role

Join Bosch Research and Technology Center North America in Sunnyvale as an AI Research Scientist focused on World Models. You will contribute to the Foundation Model Powered AI Enablers group, developing scalable and trustworthy AIoT solutions for a wide range of Bosch products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement research projects on foundation models, big‑data visual analytics, and Explainable AI.
• Develop algorithms for natural language processing, computer vision, mixed reality, cloud robotics, and time‑series analysis.
• Create transparent AI and big‑data analytic pipelines for audio, image, and sensor‑log data across domains such as automated driving, robotics, smart manufacturing, health care, and smart home.
• Collaborate with leading academic and industry partners, publish findings in top AI conferences and journals, and present results to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the engineering of AI systems that integrate with Bosch’s IoT ecosystem.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent research experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong publication record in top AI conferences (e.g., CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR).
• Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and drive innovative research.
