AI & Process Automation Business Analyst

About the role

A full-time Business Analyst - AI & Process Automation is sought to identify, analyze and improve business processes using artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics and digital transformation. The role partners with stakeholders across Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain and other functions to build solutions that increase efficiency, improve visibility and reduce manual work. The position may be performed remotely with occasional collaboration at facilities in Cincinnati, OH; Kalamazoo, MI; Mankato, MN or Wilmington, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current business processes, workflows and operational procedures across departments, and evaluate repetitive, time-consuming processes suitable for automation.
• Partner with business leaders to identify process improvement, automation and digital transformation opportunities.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows and system requirements, and facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews and workshops.
• Develop process maps, business requirements, user stories, workflow documentation and implementation plans.
• Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power Automate and Power BI, and train end users on them.
• Create dashboards, reports and analytical tools, and monitor solution effectiveness through KPIs.
• Support testing, validation and deployment of automation and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with data security, governance and responsible AI practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, digital transformation or operational excellence.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power Automate or Power BI, or similar business technology solutions.
• Preferred: experience implementing AI-enabled business solutions, SQL, data visualization or BI tools, Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement knowledge, and familiarity with ERP, CRM or HRIS systems.
