About the role

The Strategic Technology Group at Infosys is seeking an AI Engineer to join its Specialist Programmer team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on developing and deploying advanced AI solutions, including generative and agentic AI, using cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and use cases to deliver production‑ready AI features.
• Define design specifications, technology frameworks, and reusable assets for complex AI projects.
• Write high‑quality, optimized code in Python and integrate with AWS services.
• Debug complex routines, build automation, and support continuous delivery pipelines.
• Participate in knowledge‑transfer sessions and reverse‑engineering activities.
• Prototype emerging AI technologies and lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong programming expertise, particularly in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with generative AI, agentic AI, and machine‑learning concepts.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, continuous delivery and deployment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a technical team and mentor peers.
