AI Engineer – Generative AI & Full Stack

About the role

Infosys is seeking an AI Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Temple Terrace, FL. The role focuses on building intelligent, data‑first solutions that leverage generative AI, conversational platforms, and full‑stack development to accelerate product delivery and drive hyper‑productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, translate specifications into detailed software designs, and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new applications using Python, Java, and Node.js, adhering to design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects, and support performance enhancements.
• Integrate new features into existing systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base.
