AI Engineer – Build Agentic Financial Systems

About the role

Farsight is building an agentic AI platform that automates complex financial workflows for investment banks and private equity firms. As an AI Engineer you will help create end‑to‑end systems that generate client‑ready decks, models, and memos, turning raw data into polished, evidence‑backed deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own agentic systems that produce financial deliverables from data ingestion to final output.
• Build evaluation and quality‑control pipelines, including deterministic checks, model‑based reviews, grounding verification, and regression suites for non‑deterministic outputs.
• Transform proprietary and customer data into insight‑driven pipelines that discover, quantify, and verify patterns for use in drafting and checking documents.
• Develop and refine retrieval mechanisms that ground outputs in both unstructured and structured financial data, ensuring traceability of every number and claim.
• Advance next‑generation agentic capabilities such as composability, advanced function calling, and modular orchestration.
• Collaborate with product and customer teams to prioritize features based on impact, time‑to‑market, and execution risk.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience deploying machine learning or large language model (LLM) systems in production.
• Hands‑on experience building agentic systems, including function calling, tool orchestration, and reliability engineering for multi‑step pipelines.
• Proven ability to design and validate robust evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs.
• Experience constructing retrieval solutions over mixed text, numeric, and tabular data.
