AI Digital Product Sr Manager - Agentic Platform (Remote)

About the role

Amgen is hiring a remote AI Digital Product Sr Manager within its Enterprise AI & Data Science team. You will lead the strategy, execution and evolution of the Enterprise Agentic Ecosystem Platform, a developer-centric platform that lets AI engineers, software engineers, data scientists and citizen builders build, deploy, govern and scale enterprise AI agents. The platform provides reusable services, SDKs, APIs, orchestration, developer tooling, observability and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product ownership of the agentic platform in an Agile framework, driving reusable capabilities such as agent orchestration, memory, tool integration, model routing, identity, observability, deployment services and governance.
• Champion a great developer experience through SDKs, APIs, templates, documentation, reference implementations and self-service capabilities, translating business needs into technical requirements and prioritizing initiatives.
• Lead AI initiatives from discovery through enterprise scale, optimizing reliability, scalability, latency and inference costs.
• Own platform health and adoption metrics, including product usage, active builders, developer experience, model quality, reliability, latency, cost efficiency, Responsible AI compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive Responsible AI and quality by setting governance, guardrails, evaluation standards and policy enforcement with Responsible AI, Security, Privacy, Legal and Enterprise Architecture.

Required profile

• Experience leading products, defining roadmaps and tracking product success.
• Strong technical fluency with cloud-native software platforms and collaboration with engineers, architects, data scientists and business stakeholders.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
• One of: Master's degree and 6 years of product/AI/information/tech systems experience, Bachelor's degree and 8 years, or Diploma and 12 years.

Preferred qualifications

• 8+ years of product management, including 5+ years delivering AI/ML, developer platform, cloud platform or enterprise software products.
• Experience building or managing enterprise AI platforms, developer platforms or platform-as-a-product.
• Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, agent orchestration, model serving, AI evaluation and ML productization.
• Experience with AWS, Databricks, MLflow, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen or similar.
• Experience measuring developer experience, platform adoption and product analytics, and partnering on Responsible AI, security, privacy and compliance.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
