About the role
As an Admissions Counselor you will engage prospective students by phone, text and email, building trust, uncovering their goals and guiding them through Campus’s two‑year accredited program. You will help candidates understand the curriculum, assess fit, and move them forward in the application and enrollment process.
Key responsibilities
- Build trust and rapport with prospective students through high‑energy, student‑centered conversations.
- Identify and troubleshoot common student challenges such as process confusion, readiness, or emotional stress.
- Conduct admissions interviews that uncover each student’s motivations, goals and potential barriers.
- Guide applicants through every step of the application, enrollment and program orientation.
- Manage a personal pipeline of 80+ daily outreach calls, texts and emails, tracking activity in Salesforce.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure smooth handoffs between Admissions, Financial Aid and Onboarding.
- Use sound judgment to address objections, ambiguity or frustration with clarity and care.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and stay motivated despite repeated rejection.
Required profile
- Warm, confident and engaging on the phone, able to connect quickly with people.
- Resilient and able to bounce back from rejection while maintaining high energy.
- Highly organized, able to manage a high‑volume pipeline and shifting priorities.
- Coachable, eager to apply feedback and continuously improve performance.
- Motivated by hitting metrics and making a measurable impact on student outcomes.
Required skills
- Salesforce (or similar CRM) for pipeline management and documentation.
- Google Sheets or comparable spreadsheet tools for data tracking.
- Experience with CRM platforms and structured outreach tools.
