About the role
The Admissions Coordinator II supports the Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Medicine program at Tarleton State University. This full‑time, on‑site position manages the end‑to‑end admissions process, recruits prospective learners, and ensures compliance with accreditation and privacy standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manages the program’s application portal through CASPA, including configuration, applicant tracking, prerequisite verification, and reporting.
- Reviews applications for eligibility, completeness, and compliance, communicating with applicants about missing materials and timelines.
- Coordinates holistic application review, prepares applicant files for committee scoring, and manages rolling admissions processes.
- Organizes in‑person and virtual interview days, prepares interview materials, scoring instruments, and logistics.
- Issues offer letters, manages wait‑list communications, tracks enrollment confirmations and deposits, and monitors yield.
- Maintains admissions data, prepares cycle summary reports, and provides recommendations based on trends and outcomes.
- Develops and implements outreach and recruitment strategies, represents the program at career fairs and community events, and maintains marketing materials and social media presence.
- Provides administrative support to the Program Director and Admissions Committee, manages calendars, minutes, and budgetary reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Higher Education Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- At least four years of experience in admissions, learner services, recruitment, or higher‑education administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the CASPA application management system.
- Experience using Castle Branch for onboarding and screening processes.
- Ability to manage social media platforms and create digital recruitment content.
- Data analysis and reporting skills to track admissions metrics.
