Admissions Assistant – Evening Shift

About the role

The Admissions Assistant supports the Adult Education Program at Central Georgia Technical College. Working evenings, you will assist prospective students with enrollment, maintain accurate records, and provide information about admission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to visitor and student inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
• Process new student applications, program changes, and maintain up‑to‑date records in the college’s student information system.
• Enter data using GALIS software and other appropriate tools.
• Assist with campus tours and group visits as needed.
• Clear call tickets and email inquiries related to enrollment and admissions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of related work experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GALIS software for student information management.
• Strong computer operation and data‑entry skills.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $15.50.
• Part‑time schedule up to 19 hours per week, evenings (5 PM‑9 PM) on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
